2027 Edition will be ready for collection in Dec of 2026. Ready for the first ride in 2027.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PASSPORT HOLDERS
ACCEPTANCE – By purchasing, receiving, registering, or using a RAKA Rider Passport, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

ELIGIBILITY – Passport holders must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

THE PASSPORT – The RAKA Rider Passport is a recreational adventure program designed to encourage travel and exploration within Namibia.

The passport is not:

• A government-issued document.
• A travel document.
• Proof of identity.
• A guarantee of access to any venue or event.

STAMP COLLECTION – Passport holders may only collect stamps by physically visiting participating destinations or by meeting challenge requirements.

Fraudulent activity includes:

• Forging stamps.
• Altering passport entries.
• Using another person’s passport.
• Obtaining stamps without completing the required visit.

Fraud may result in immediate disqualification.

REWARDS AND RECOGNITION – RAKA may offer:

• Certificates.
• Merchandise.
• Awards.
• Discounts.
• Special recognition.

Rewards are subject to availability and may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn without notice.
No cash alternative will be offered unless specifically stated.

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY – Riders are responsible for:

• Their motorcycle.
• Their equipment.
• Their route planning.
• Their accommodation.
• Their fuel.
• Their safety.

Every rider participates at their own risk.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS – Riders are strongly encouraged to:

• Wear appropriate riding gear.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Ride within their skill level.
• Carry emergency supplies.
• Respect weather conditions.
• Avoid riding while impaired.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK – Motorcycling involves inherent risks, including:

• Accidents.
• Mechanical failures.
• Wildlife encounters.
• Poor road conditions.
• Weather events.
• Personal injury or death.

By participating, riders voluntarily accept these risks.

LIABILITY WAIVER – To the maximum extent permitted by law, RAKA, its organisers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and participating destinations shall not be liable for:

• Injury.
• Death.
• Theft.
• Property damage.
• Financial loss.
• Delays.
• Any losses arising from participation.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA – Participants grant RAKA permission to use photographs, videos, and media captured during events or visits for promotional purposes without compensation.

PRIVACY – Personal information collected by RAKA will only be used for program administration, communication, promotions, and related purposes.
RAKA will not knowingly sell personal information to third parties.

TERMINATION – RAKA may suspend or cancel a passport holder’s participation if the rider:

• Commits fraud.
• Acts unlawfully.
• Endangers others.
• Damages the reputation of the program.

CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM – RAKA reserves the right to:

• Add or remove destinations.
• Change stamp requirements.
• Modify rewards.
• Amend these Terms and Conditions.

GOVERNING LAW – These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.

FINAL STATEMENT – The RAKA Rider Passport exists to promote adventure, tourism, responsible riding, and the exploration of Namibia.

PRIVACY POLICY
INTRODUCTION – RAKA Rider Passport Namibia (“RAKA”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT – We may collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Town or region
• Emergency contact information
• Motorcycle details (optional)
• Passport number
• Stamp and challenge records
• Event registration information
• Photographs and videos
• Website usage information

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION – We may use your information to:

• Register your passport
• Verify participation
• Administer rewards and competitions
• Communicate updates and events
• Improve the program
• Maintain rider rankings and statistics
• Promote RAKA activities

SHARING OF INFORMATION – RAKA will not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with:

• Event organisers
• Participating destinations
• Sponsors
• Service providers
• Authorities where required by law

MEDIA CONSENT – Participants acknowledge that photographs and videos may be taken during rides and events.
RAKA may use such material for:

• Social media
• Website content
• Advertising
• Promotional campaigns
• Printed material

DATA SECURITY – RAKA will take reasonable measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION – Participants may request access to or correction of their personal information.

RETENTION – Information may be retained for program administration, historical records, and recognition purposes.

CHANGES – RAKA may update this policy from time to time.

LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
IMPORTANT NOTICE – Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity.
By participating in the RAKA Rider Passport program, I acknowledge and agree that:

• I participate voluntarily.

I understand that risks include:

• Road accidents
• Mechanical failures
• Wildlife encounters
• Extreme weather
• Medical emergencies
• Injury
• Permanent disability
• Death

I accept full responsibility for:

• My motorcycle
• My riding ability
• My equipment
• My route planning
• My insurance
• My actions

I confirm that:

• My motorcycle is roadworthy.
• I possess the required licence.
• I comply with Namibian traffic laws.
• I am physically and mentally fit to ride.

I release and indemnify:

• RAKA Volunteer Association
• RAKA Rider Passport Namibia
• Its founders
• Organisers
• Volunteers
• Sponsors
• Destination partners
• Event hosts
• from any claims arising from participation.

I understand that participation is entirely at my own risk.
I authorise emergency medical treatment if necessary and accept any resulting costs.
I agree that this waiver remains valid for all future participation unless withdrawn in writing.

ADDITIONAL RULES

RAKA reserves the right to create limited-edition stamps, seasonal challenges, and bonus locations.

Every passport gets a unique serial number.

Lost passports can be replaced at personal costs, but previously earned stamps are not automatically restored unless verified.

Venues may award only one stamp per rider per day.

GPS/photo verification can be required for challenge routes.

Digital and physical passports can run together.

Riders who complete all 14 Namibian regions earn the title “RAKA LEGEND RIDER”.

Venues found issuing fraudulent stamps can be permanently removed from the program.
