DESTINATION PARTNER AGREEMENT – We hereby apply to become an official RAKA Rider Passport Destination Partner.
We agree to:

  • Welcome riders respectfully.
  • Issue stamps only to riders who physically visit our location.
  • Protect official stamp equipment.
  • Inform RAKA if a stamp is lost or stolen.
  • Allow RAKA to list our business on its website, social media, maps, and promotional material.
  • Maintain legal compliance and appropriate operating licences.
  • Uphold the reputation of the RAKA Rider Passport program.

BENEFITS – Participating destinations may receive:

  • Listing on the RAKA website
  • Inclusion on route maps
  • Social media exposure
  • Event participation opportunities
  • Increased rider visitation

ACKNOWLEDGMENT – We understand that participation does not guarantee customer numbers, sales, revenue, or promotional outcomes.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR DESTINATION PARTNERS
(Bars, Restaurants, Campsites, Lodges, Attractions, Events & Other Participating Locations)

INTRODUCTION – By registering as a participating destination (“Destination Partner”) in the RAKA Rider Passport program, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
The RAKA Rider Passport program is administered by RAKA Volunteer Association (“RAKA”).

ELIGIBILITY – To participate, a Destination Partner must:

  • Operate a legitimate business, attraction, event, venue, campsite, lodge, restaurant, bar, or tourism-related destination.
  • Hold all licenses, permits, and approvals required by applicable laws.
  • Maintain a safe environment for visitors.
  • Be located within Namibia unless otherwise approved by RAKA.

PARTICIPATION – Destination Partners agree to:

  • Welcome passport holders in a fair and respectful manner.
  • Issue official passport stamps only to riders who physically visit the destination.
  • Not issue stamps to persons who have not visited the location.
  • Protect and securely store official RAKA stamp equipment.
  • Notify RAKA immediately if a stamp is lost, stolen, or damaged.

STAMPS

  • Destination stamps remain the property of RAKA.
    Destination Partners may not:
  • Copy, reproduce, alter, or duplicate official stamps.
  • Create unofficial stamps.
  • Allow unauthorised persons to use the stamp.
  • RAKA reserves the right to replace or withdraw stamps at any time.

MARKETING – Destination Partners grant RAKA permission to:

  • Display the destination name, logo, photographs, and location information on RAKA websites, social media pages, printed material, maps, and promotional content.
  • Promote the destination as part of the program.
  • Ownership of trademarks and logos remains with the respective owner.

FEES – Participation fees, if any, will be communicated separately.
Unless otherwise agreed, participation does not guarantee sales, customers, revenue, or promotional benefits.

CONDUCT – Destination Partners must not:

  • Engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Misrepresent the program.
  • Issue fraudulent stamps.
  • Discriminate against riders based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or other protected characteristics.

SAFETY – RAKA is not responsible for:

  • Road conditions.
  • Accidents.
  • Injuries.
  • Property damage.
  • Criminal acts.
  • Losses suffered by riders or visitors.
  • Destination Partners remain responsible for safety within their own premises.

TERMINATION – RAKA may suspend or terminate participation immediately if a Destination Partner:

  • Breaches these terms.
  • Issues fraudulent stamps.
  • Damages the reputation of the program.
  • Engages in illegal activity.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – RAKA provides the program on an “as is” basis and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation.

CHANGES – RAKA may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

GOVERNING LAW – These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia.
